Every money changer quotes you a rate. Almost none of them tell you the margin built into it. We show you both (the interbank rate on the screen and what we are adding) and you decide whether it is worth it.
On a €2,000 Europe trip the difference between a fair margin and a bad one is three to four thousand rupees. It is worth the two minutes of arithmetic, and we will do it in front of you.

Four things, no surprises.
Currency notes
Best for the first day, tips, taxis and the places that still refuse cards. We suggest keeping roughly a fifth of your budget in cash and the rest on a card.
Forex cards
Locked at the rate you loaded, so a moving rupee does not follow you around. Works at unattended fuel pumps and ticket machines in Europe, where an Indian debit card often does not.
Outward remittance and LRS
University fees, family maintenance, medical treatment. A2 form and LRS declaration explained rather than just signed, and TCS implications spelled out before you transfer.
Travel insurance
Schengen-compliant €30,000 cover, senior citizen plans and student policies. We read the exclusions to you: including pre-existing conditions and adventure activity limits, before you buy.
Do not change money at the airport.
Airport counters at IGI carry margins two to four times ours because they are selling convenience to people who have run out of time. Order what you need from us the day before and collect it at the shop, or we will have it delivered to your home in Gurugram.
