The paperwork chain, run in the right order.
MEA apostille, Home Department and HRD attestation, and embassy legalisation for degree, marriage, birth and commercial documents.
Attestation is a chain, and it has to be done in order. Skip a link and the embassy sends the whole file back, usually a fortnight after you needed it. We run the chain: notary, state Home Department or HRD, the Ministry of External Affairs, and then the embassy that asked for it.
Most of the documents we handle are going to the Gulf for employment or family visas, to Europe for study, and to Australia and Canada for skilled migration. The requirement is set by the country receiving the document, so the first thing we do is read their letter rather than guess.
- Apostille (Hague countries) — 5 to 8 working days
- MEA attestation + embassy, 8 to 15 working days
- Commercial documents, 3 to 10 working days via the Chamber of Commerce
- Our fee: from ₹1,800 per document, government charges at actuals
Four links, and the order matters.
